The basis of everything here is to make it easier for you to focus your time on the things that really matter to your business, while replacing the things you don’t personally need to focus on with time for yourself. Here is how you can systematically do that:
Step 1 - Strategy
Define your strategy for the year(s) ahead. This will make it easier for you to only focus your time and energy on what is strategically important to your business.
P.S. If you want to learn key tips that even successful companies should keep in mind when you next work on your business strategy, then I suggest that you:
Step 2 - Delegate effectively
Delegate what tasks that you as the founder might not need to do, but your customers still might need from your business. For instance, you may delegate some work to a shop assistant if you run a retail business.
Step 3 - Block out time in your diary
Schedule downtime for yourself as if it was a meeting or other event that you needed to do. Make sure you do something in that time that personally works the best for you and gives you what you need e.g. Yoga.
